     Klong Saeng is located in Surat Thani’s Ban Ta Khun district. Both sides of the rivers are loaded with numerous species of trees and animals while being surrounded with mountains and hills. Plenty of travelers visit the place to experience the peaceful nature while they’re chilling on their bamboo rafts, floating along the river. It is the perfect place for relaxing and relieve all your stress and tiredness.

     For this trip, we’re staying at Cheiwlan Camp and Resort, which they serve both as a resort and a restaurant along with various activities, including bamboo rafting. There will be a car that will pick us up from the resort to get on the raft at Khao Phang Suspension Bridge, which only takes around 10 minutes. If you go on the raft in the evening, the weather is impeccable and the water is cold. The bamboo rafting takes around 1hour, but it also depends on the rapidness of the water. Before the rafting starts, the tour guide that is designated for the tour will take you to take some shots at the mini Grand Canyon with the background of the heart-shaped mountain. Spoiler alert: the pictures came out extremely stunning.

     During the time on the raft, it was very peaceful, chill, and relaxed. You can actually hear the water running, the sound of the trees, and the birds singing. The fun part is you can jump from the raft into the water! But stay a little further from the raft because the water can be cold and rapid, so be careful!!

     Overall, the trip was extraordinarily fun and everyone was pleased with the tour. If we had another chance to travel, we would definitely choose Surat Thani for our destination! Other than the nice ambience with fresh air all around, the food is also amazing!
